Yesterday at the market a young girl came over the and chatted and lives motorcycles and rides her brother'sbike and was interested about my trip and then asked if I was going to Ukraine as it was so close by. I didn't think they would let people but she lsaid if you have the papers you can go in and that's how I ended up here.
Felt even worse today but pushed on, the border crossing was quick and easy and didn'thave to pay for.anything and was even waved to the front of the line where there were some other bikers.
Stopped in the first town and went to the Aptek to get something for my cold and then found an ATM and then got a sim card for $4. Was going to head south from there to Odessa but I opened up my mail and Dan had written and said Lviv was his favorite city in Ukraine, so that's where I pointed the the front wheel and five hours later arrived in Lviv.
The entire way was flat ,no mountains or hills do was not the most exciting ride up here , but after 37K km. who cares.
Walked around in the evening and grabbed some food and beer and the medicine seems to be doing the trick thankfully.
The day didn't start gret for me ,I was kinda down in the dumps and was wondering if it was the right thing to do to go to Ukraine or not. So I plodded along and things got bettwritten at each step and it all came together in the end. Some days are just not easy.
